These 8 week courses focus exclusively on preparing individuals to pass the Texas State Journeyman Electrician Exam or the Texas State Master Electrician Exam. The course curriculums for these classes include learning how to reference the NEC code book to look up definitions, wiring methods, electrical methods, electrical equipment, special occupancy, and more. These courses teach calculations for electrical services, feeders, branch circuits, motors, and more. We teach Ohm’s law, voltage drop, and other electrical theory, along with safety and state law that is pertinent to the State Journeyman Exam.
TESA has offered Exam Prep Review for over 20 years and we pride ourselves in a very high pass rate for those students that complete their homework and show up to class ready to learn. These courses are not training programs for apprentice electricians.
