Class Description

This course provides preparation for candidates that want to take the Texas State Master Sign Electrician Exam. The course includes learning how to reference the NEC code book to look up definitions, wiring methods, electrical methods, electrical equipment, special occupancy, and more. 

We teach Ohm’s law, voltage drop, and other electrical theory, along with safety and state law.

State Requirements and Resources

The current work experience requirements to sit for the Texas State Master Sign Electrician Exam are 12,000 hours or 6 years of On-The-Job Training under the supervision of a licensed Master Electrician.
